Angélique Leroux-Bourdon will be responsible for the Food Hub project in Vaudreuil-Soulanges, over the next year.
Graduate from ITHQ (institutional cooking) and from Valleyfield College (accounting and HR management), she has strong entrepreneurial skills. She had the opportunity to start and manage various retail businesses located in our beautiful region. Her academic and professional background has also given her the chance to develop skills in institutional cooking, management, procurement, human resources and planification. She is aware of the challenges for agri-food businesses to make themselves known and to create lasting and close relationships with clients.
As part of the Food Hub project, her mandate is to promote the initiative to agri-food stakeholders in the region to facilitate marketing to the population and the HRI (hotels, restaurants, and institutions) of our producers and processors and so, increase availability and sales of local production.
