Our team

After completing a B.B.A. specializing in industrial relations, Joanne Brunet began her career working for the mining giant Noranda (now Glencore), first in Toronto and then in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield. In 2006 she joined the CLD Beauharnois-Salaberry, where she was faced with a severe manufacturing crisis that closed three plants and led to more than 1,500 layoffs in less than six months. She rapidly formed a regional economic redeployment committee and helped attract several major logistics and IT firms to the region. In 2018, Ms. Brunet joined the team at DEV Vaudreuil-Soulanges and now works to find strategies for dealing with rapid demographic and economic growth, in cooperation with many partners.
