Discover the territory

A vast territory (855 km²) west of Montréal, at the confluence of the St. Lawrence and Ottawa rivers, MRC de Vaudreuil-Soulanges is made up of 23 widely diversified municipalities, 11 of which are part of the Montreal Metropolitan Community. The municipalities are grouped together under five sectors of affinity: Mont Rigaud, Plaine rurale, Soulanges, Centre urbain and Île Perrot. DEV is currently updating its regional data analysis based on the 2016 census. The data for each municipality as well as each sector of affinity will soon be available. The portrait of the region and a snapshot of its ethnocultural diversity have already been published and are available here.
